This policy describes what data WhatPowers ("we") processes when you use whatpowers.com and the WhatPowers API, and why.

1. What we collect

• Purchase data — handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record: name, e-mail and payment details are collected and stored by Paddle under Paddle's privacy policy. We receive your e-mail address and subscription status, never your payment details.
• API usage data — per-key request counts (for quotas and rate limiting), looked-up URLs (cached with their detection results) and standard server logs (IP, timestamp, status) kept for security and debugging.
• E-mail — we send transactional e-mail only (your API key, billing-related notices) via Resend. No marketing lists.

2. What we don't do

We don't sell personal data, we don't run third-party advertising or tracking scripts on this site, and we don't collect more than the service needs to operate.

3. Processors

Paddle (payments, Merchant of Record), Resend (transactional e-mail), Cloudflare (DNS/proxy/e-mail routing) and Hetzner (hosting, EU servers).

4. Retention and your rights

Usage records are kept while your subscription is active and for up to 12 months after, then deleted or anonymized. You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at [email protected] — we answer within 30 days.
